Tropic Thunder
…was pretty good. RDJ is a genius.
Observation
Argentine girls use a lot of exclamation points in their email correspondence.
Declaration
I hereby declare that, starting today, I will no longer enter situations that will require me to do things that I have no desire to do.
Publishing things on the Internet makes them true and official.
Just When I Thought I Was Out…
It took three years of law school to convince me that I don’t want to be a lawyer. So instead of spending the summer studying for the July Bar, I packed up and moved to Buenos Aires - mainly to wash law school off my brain.
A couple of weeks ago I made a new friend here, and we had a conversation that progressed like so:
Movies –> Argentine Movies –> Argentina –> Argentine Political Situation –> American Political Situation –> “Why don’t you want to be a lawyer?” –> American Prison System –> “I have a book you should read.”
That book turned out to be Governing Through Crime by Jonathan Simon, a professor who used to teach at my law school. Small world.
I just finished it, and I’ll post my thoughts in a few days.
I Am Loving Google Chrome
Google Chrome is pretty cool and really fast. I recommend that any PC users out there give it a test drive.
Buenos Aires is the Place to Be
My name is Matt and I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This is my blog. Enjoy.
